The Event

Some of our members in Ulster will be supporting and participating in this Five for Palestine campaign event on the occasion of the anniversary of the anti-internment march attacked by British armed forces in 1972 one week before Bloody Sunday 

Location Magilligan Point - Martello Tower & Strand on 24th January 2026;  

Shore to Shore Solidarity from Ireland to Palestine  calling for Five for Palestine with 5 demands for freedom and dignity for political prisoners resisting colonial repression 

Release all prisoners, including Marwan Barghouti 

Tommy McKearney, former political prisoner who was on the H-Blocks hunger-strike in 1980,  will be the main speaker

Saturday 24th January 2026 at 1pm

 * Free mini-bus from Free Derry Corner 12 noon (please note - bus will return to Derry in time for the other Palestine Solidarity demo scheduled for 3pm)*
