🕯️Vigil for Saleh Al Jaafarawi 🕯️

For two years, Saleh Al Jaafarawi documented Israel’s genocide in Gaza — staying in the North so the world would see the truth. Today he was assassinated by Israel-backed militias while reporting in Gaza City.

Saleh’s courage was matched by his humanity: he made infants laugh amid rubble, carried hope through horror, and never stopped telling the story of Gaza.

Like his colleagues Hossam Shabat and Anas Al-Sharif, Saleh left a clear wish:
“Stay with Gaza, even after the war ends.”

We gather to mourn — and to remain steadfast. We honor his life by upholding what he lived and died for: the unyielding pursuit of truth in the service of Palestinian liberation.
